About Mooi Mabuhay

Mooi Mabuhay is a Dutch–Filipino home and lifestyle brand rooted in calm, intention, and natural materials.

The name carries both sides of our story.
Mooi — a Dutch word for beautiful — suggests balance, simplicity, and quiet design.
Mabuhay — a Tagalog word meaning to live fully — expresses warmth, resilience, and an open‑hearted way of being.
Together, they hold our hope for a life that is both calm and alive.

We bring these perspectives together:
from the Netherlands, a sense of clarity and considered form;
from the Philippines, the warmth of human touch and natural materials.

Our current collection features hand‑crafted acacia wood pieces from Baguio City, a region long known for its woodworking traditions in the Philippines.
Each bowl and platter was made in small local workshops and finished by hand before reaching us here in the Netherlands. We did not witness each piece being carved, but we chose them directly and with care, selecting those that carry the quiet character of the material and the craft.

Every object shows small differences in grain, tone, and form — these are signs of its making, not imperfections.
We present them simply, paired with calm rituals created to support presence at home.

Mooi Mabuhay is not about trends or abundance.
It is about slowing down, honoring the hands and places that made each piece possible, and surrounding ourselves with objects that quietly feel right — today and over time.
